Mrs. Hadel joined Holy Name Catholic School in the fall of 2019 to teach Middle School Science. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from NMU in secondary education – General Science with a minor in Biology. Her graduate level studies have all focused on Special Education.
Prior to teaching at Holy Name, Mrs. Hadel taught high school science at North Star Montessori Academy, a public charter school in Marquette for 15 years. She also has served over 22 years in the Navy Reserves, with the last 14 as an instructor and Master Training Specialist.
Mrs. Hadel has been married for 33 years and has 2 children, Crystal and Jason, twin black cats, and a range of wild critters who think she should feed them. In her free time, she loves to grow things, planting 3 large gardens at home, in addition to a garden for the Food Pantry in Rock. She also sings with a local ecumenical choir several times a year and enjoys camping, fishing and hunting (with a camera of course.)
She feels very blessed to be at Holy Name now. It is wonderful to be a part of a team that is focused on Christ and caring about students. Holy Name is everything she dreamed a school should be.
