Dear Families of Holy Name,
We had a great turnout for our Christmas program this past Tuesday. The kids performed so well and focused in on Jesus. It was a great way to prepare for the celebration of the coming of Jesus at Christmas.
We are looking for some feedback on future performances. If you could please take a few minutes to share your thoughts on the timing of the program, that would be helpful.
We were blessed with Holy Mass twice this week. Thank you Fr. Tim for coming for both beautiful Marian feasts. Our Lady of Guadalupe led to the conversion of millions of Aztecs. It is a fascinating story and I would encourage you to look into it. Not only is the image miraculous, but she appeared pregnant with our Lord. Mary is a great pro life witness and a patroness to unborn children being an unwed mother.
We also launched our annual fund this week. We have received a tremendous response for the band program. $17,000 has come in the last two days. Thank you for spreading the word. Thank you to Channel 19 for sharing our story.
