Holy Name High School - A Chesterton Academy

Math Teacher | Part Time

Chesterton Academy, a joyfully Catholic, classical high school, seeks a talented math teacher for the 2021-22 academic year. The position is part-time and would teach a 9th grade level mathematics class on Euclidean Geometry.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field. Two to three years of teaching experience is preferred, but a passion for Catholic classical education is required.

The candidates must be willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium and preference will be given to practicing Catholics. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and possess a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.

In addition to their teaching responsibilities, faculty at Chesterton Academy can participate in the Chesterton extra-curricular activities like sports, clubs and our Household system. Faculty members have the opportunity to join the students for daily Mass and attend spiritual retreats.
