Holy Name Catholic School is in need of a part-time Catechesis of the Good Shepard (CGS) Catechist.
The catechist will need to have completed Catechesis of the Good Shepard training in at least the first level of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd prior to starting for this position. The catechist would be serving students in grades pre-school through kindergarten. This would be a part-time position of 15 hours per week. Holy Name Catholic School is willing to assist with the cost of the training for the individual this summer if required.
The atrium is the center of the program and the catechist will be responsible for building up these environments as a place filled with God’s loving presence and wisdom. The catechist will be responsible for overseeing the atrium environments, working with guides throughout the school to enhance the life of faith in the rooms, and to work with the principal and student’s teachers in uniting prayer and the liturgical life with the school.
