Brigette DeCremer
1st Grade Teacher
Mrs. DeCremer began teaching at Holy Name in the Fall of 2018 and has a Bachelor degree in elementary education through St. Norbert College. Her favorite Saint is St. Clare, Blessed Chiara Badano. Prior to joining Holy Name she worked at The Pines Catholic Camp Missionary and taught 2nd grade at St. Joseph Catholic School in Richardson, Texas. In her free time she enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with her husband and step-son

Emily Lightfoot
1st Grade Teacher
Hi, growing up I attended Menominee Catholic Central (presently JPII). I graduated from Saint Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin in 2013. For the past seven years I have taught 4K/kindergarten at All Saints Catholic Academy in Ironwood, Michigan. For five of those years I was also the lead teacher of the school. While at All Saints I worked with children infant – 6th grade through our before school, after school, summer care and Little Lambs Daycare. My goal as an educator is to instill the love of learning and a deep faith at a young age so the students can become faith filled lifelong learners. All Saints Catholic Academy closed the elementary school at the end of the 2020 school year. I feel very blessed to continue my teaching career with you at Holy Name in the Diocese of Marquette.
I have a great love for my Catholic faith. I have a deep devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
When I’m not at school I enjoy reading, kayaking, bike riding, and taking my dog KC on walks with my husband, Chris. We got married at Our Lady of Pines in Copper Harbor in 2015. We would love a large family when God sees that it’s the right time to bless us with one. Family is very important to me whether it be relatives or my school family. I am always there to support and help.
I also love to travel and have taken many trips to different parts of the world including Central America, Europe and Australia. I hope to travel more in the future.
I am so excited to be able to join the Holy Name team. I can’t wait to meet you all in person.

Amber Racicot
2nd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Racicot joined Holy Name in 2015 and has a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northern Michigan University. She loves that she can share her faith at Holy Name and being able to invite Jesus into the classroom. Before joining Holy Name, Mrs. Racicot worked as an aide and teacher at Head Start. She also was a substitute teacher for Holy Name and Bark River. Her parents are alumnus of Holy Name and she has a husband Joe, children Devin, Tyler, Melody, two dogs, four cats, one rabbit, four goats, four horses and seven chickens. In her free time, she enjoys to spend time with her family, camping, bike riding and reading.

Debra Casey
3rd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Casey began teaching at Holy Name in 1987. She has her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education through Northern Michigan University. Her favorite Saint is St. Therese and she says Holy Name is unique because she can teach the children about Jesus and it feels like a school family. Before she began working at Holy Name she was a substitute teacher and teacher assistant in Kindergarten. Mrs. Casey has a husband Michael and son Ryan.

Anne Cashen
4th Grade Teacher
Ms. Cashen began teaching at Holy Name in 2013 and has her Master’s degree in elementary education through Central Michigan University and University of Phoenix. She has two sons who are alumnus of Holy Name. Leo is serving his first year in the United States Army and Julian is a sophomore at Escanaba High School. Ms. Cashen was inspired to work at Holy Name because while her two sons attended, she witnessed strong examples of Christian fellowship among parents and school staff. She loves working in a community where she can share her faith with others, pray with others, and feel a part of God’s family. Her favorite Saint is Saint Joseph. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, biking, and gardening.
