A Few “Brief” Notes from the Principal:
Happy New Year, Crusader Families!
It was great to see all the students and staff back in the hallways and classrooms again this week, even though we missed two days due to inclement weather. We are all looking forward to getting back into a regular routine. Next week we will have half days on Thursday and Friday for Middle and High School exams. Friday, January 16th is the last day of the First Semester, if you can believe that?! Also, just a reminder that Holy Name has a full day of school on Wednesday, January 14th, but Escanaba Public Schools only have a half day so parent transportation will be necessary for the afternoon.
The Juniors, Seniors, and Mrs. Ellis have worked really hard on putting together a fantastic Drama Production, Letters from the Titanic. The students do a fabulous job entertaining and I’m very proud of them! If you missed last night’s performance, I hope you’re able to make it tonight at 6:30pm or Saturday at 1:00pm because it’s a must see show!
I pray you have a great weekend and stay safe in this crazy weather.
God bless,
Mrs. Brief 😀
A “Viau” from the Headmaster:
Hello Crusader Family!
I hope you all had an amazing break! It is so wonderful to be back with all of the students! As you can imagine, our first week back after break was a bit disrupted with being off for the snow day and then again for the ice day. Nevertheless, they are focused and ready to finish out the semester. The biggest news this week is, of course, our Junior and Senior Drama play! “Letters from the Titanic” opens Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room at the elementary school. If you weren’t able to attend last night, you still have two more opportunities; Friday at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday at 1:00 p.m. I can tell you with complete confidence that you’ll be glad you attend!
Next week is the end of the semester. Students will be taking their exams next week and have already been studying and preparing for them. Please keep them all in your prayers!
Have a fantastic weekend!
God Bless,
Mrs. Viau
