Dear Families of Holy Name,
This has truly been a challenging few weeks. I am grateful for the supportive community. One staff member commented that I witnessed the best of this community through the tragedy. I want to thank Fr. Tim Ferguson for his leadership. Doug Leisenring, Kristy Alimenti, Pam Cloutier, Patty Tighe and all at the ISD who helped tremendously. Also, a big thank you to our staff who remain responsive to our students’ needs. A special thank you to Amber Hartman, Mickey Trottier, Vic Dumas, Amber Racicot, Amy Lamarche and Margaret Renner who went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly.
This week, as we slowly enter into the reality of life and school continuing, I want to reiterate that there is a lot of love here at Holy Name. There are annoyances, breakdowns in communication, and many opportunities for growth, but at the core of Holy Name, there is a lot of love. We will always strive to get stronger and find the best ways to serve you and your families.
May your Advent be filled with anticipation for Jesus. It is in Him, that we will find the strength to do what needs to be done. I encourage you to stay connected as a family and pray together. No one knows how long we have in this life. Focusing on Jesus is the essential ingredient for a life of purpose, peace, and joy.
In Christ’s Love,
Nathan Vande Hey
