Dear Family,

I hope that all of you had a nice weekend. Although it was a dreary weekend, the highlight for me was to be at the baptism of my new Godchild, Evelyn Jean Carlson. This is my brother Tim’s second little girl.

Over the weekend, I was informed that one of our parents tested positive for COVID. The children were not at school on Friday as a precaution and some of their children also went in to get tested after the parent tested positive. All of the other children that were tested in the household tested negative. The students will be home completing their quarantine.

We also had a couple students that were considered close contacts of someone they were with over Easter. They are at home beginning their quarantine as well.

Both of these families are doing well. At this time we do not need to do any further contact tracing or quarantines.

This afternoon we completed our second round of our athlete COVID testing. We did not have any students that tested positive. Our next test for our athletes will be completed on Monday, April 19th.

The boys basketball game for tonight has been moved to Carney school. This change is because they did not have bussing transportation available to them this evening. I appreciate our families being so understanding and be willing to drive to Carney to keep the game.

Have a blessed evening!

Joe
