Dear Family,
I hope that everyone had a nice weekend! The kids had a fun time making little snowmen at recess today!
I don’t have any new school related COVID-19 cases to report today. Our possible case that we had in pre-school came back negative over the weekend. We still have a couple students out because they are considered close contacts. We hope that they remain healthy.
As you may have heard, Escanaba Public Schools will be closing the Junior/Senior High School and Lemmer Elementary schools for the reminder of the week due to an increase in COVID cases. They will be using this time to do a deep cleaning and sanitization of the building. We will continue to operate as normal. Busses will also be operating as normal. If you have a child in band or orchestra, we will provide them with a Chromebook so they can join their class virtually. Please have them stop by the office on their way to the library. Please pray for all of their students and staff that they have a speedy recovery and can be back in school soon!
