Mr. Vic and I even had the opportunity to be a part of the act. It was a little nerve-racking for both of us but we couldn’t let the kids down. JMJ Dear Family, There are no new COVID cases to report today. Please remember that in honor of the feast day of St. Joseph the Worker, we will not have school on Friday, April 30th. I hope that you will consider joining us on Saturday, May 1st for an outside work bee at the school. We will start at 9:00 and work until the grounds are cleaned up. JMJ Dear Family, Thankfully, there are no new COVID cases to report today. We do know that there has been an uptick in positive COVID tests locally. We have had more quarantines and positive cases in the last two weeks than we have had in the previous 12 weeks. JMJ Dear Family, I have one new COVID note to mention today. We were informed today that we had a parent of one of our students in Mrs. Hadel’s 6th grade homeroom class tested positive. The student is not showing any symptoms and there are no additional quarantines at this time. Many of you may have read the communication from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. JMJ Dear Family, Thank you once again for supporting this year’s Spring Fling! It was a record breaking year! May God bless you for your generosity and for supporting the school. Our goal was to raise $30,000 and we ended up raising $34,583! I have a couple COVID items to communicate. First, we had a 5th grade student test positive with COVID over the weekend.
