Dear Family,

Thankfully, there are no new COVID cases to report today.

We do know that there has been an uptick in positive COVID tests locally. We have had more quarantines and positive cases in the last two weeks than we have had in the previous 12 weeks. To my knowledge, we have only had three students test positive for COVID and two of them were from the same household during this time period.

As a reminder if your child or a member in your family is experiencing any COVID related symptoms of a runny nose, headache, fever, cough or body aches just to name a few, please consider getting a test and/or staying home until symptoms improve. Taking these precautions have allowed us to remain open and limit additional quarantines for other students or staff. If you ever want to bounce a situation off of me, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss some options to consider.

This is just a reminder that we will not have school next week Friday, April 30th. This is a gift from Bishop John in honor of the Solemnity of St. Joseph the Worker on Saturday, May 1st. We will also be having a work bee on Saturday, May 1st at 9:00 a.m. to clean up the grounds and outside areas of the school. It should be a lot of fun and there will probably be a lot of doughnuts too!

I hope that everyone has a wonderful evening!

God bless,

Joe
