Dear Family,
I do not have any COVID updates to report today. However, the boys basketball game for tonight has been cancelled due to a COVID case at North Central.
Some of you may know that Pope Francis has dedicated this year to be “The Year of St. Joseph!” St. Joseph is my personal favorite saint (for obvious reasons). Saturday, May 1st is the Solemnity of St. Joseph the Worker. I was just informed that Bishop John Doerfler has decided to give all students, staff and teachers the day off on Friday, April 30th. This is in gratitude for everyone’s hard work this year and in honor of the feast day. Bishop Doerfler knows that students, families, faculty, and staff have worked extremely hard this year and he wanted everyone to have a day of rest, rejuvenation and celebration! This morning, I informed the students and staff of this announcement.
I also echo Bishop John’s gratitude for the sacrifices all of you have made this year to keep us open, learning, praying and serving all those entrusted to our care.
Our annual Spring Fling is OPEN! We have a goal of raising $30,000! At the time of this communication we were already at $13,582.! Please share the following link with family and friends and invite them to support your school!
