Our school operates under the authority of the Office of Education of the Diocese of Marquette and the Escanaba Area Catholic School Education Commission (EACSEC).  The Commission is formed by the member parishes as a consultative body to assist the administrator and the pastors in overseeing the operation of the school.  The chief administrative officer of the school is responsible for implementing the policies of the Commission of Education. The academic program of the school is the responsibility of the principal and the teachers.  Holy Name is accredited by the Michigan Association of Non-public Schools.
